Service Technician

Paris Farm and Ranch has the following career opportunity for a qualified individual seeking employment in the equipment dealer industry.

Title: Diesel Mechanic

Location: Paris Farm and Ranch – Paris, TX

Reports to: Service Manager

Position Responsibilities:

– Responsible for independently performing diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer agricultural, small construction and turf equipment. Employees would see a diversification of work including, but not limited to, diesel engines, hydrostat diagnostics, electrical schematics, and more.

– Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.

– Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of machine information, diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on-time submittal of information.

– Required to participate in service training programs needed to develop skills and knowledge.

– Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

– Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

– Proper tools to perform job duties.

– Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

– Computer skills are preferred.

– Strong customer service-oriented mindset.

– Strong organizational skills

– Able to work with minimal supervision.

– Ability to work as a team member.

Education/Experience:

– Strong mechanical skills; Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
